Boiken culture wooden dish with elongated oval form with four ancestral spirit faces and a central frog motif, field collected by Michael Hamson in the late 1990s from Samap village, dark brown glossy patina, inner rim shows signs of rat gnawing. Plate is 18 1/8” in height, dates to the 1900-1925 era and comes with custom display stand.
